As a society, broken and twisted as we are, we place such a high value on female virginity that it is cruel.

 

 

We use it as a barometer for innocence, purity, and a host of other obscene notions that aren't actually valuable in and of themselves. And the opposite is true for men, according to our distorted social norms. We need to get rid of virginity as soon as possible so that we can focus on stealing women's virginity. The sexual scales are heavily skewed in favor of men.

 

In the binary relationship between the sexes, boys are pressured to lose their virginity, while girls are pressured to maintain theirs. With all the psychosexual nonsense we've created for ourselves, it's a wonder we ever engage in sexual activity. What a strange standard by which we evaluate one another: sex. That, in my humble opinion, is the most absurd and meaningless way we could possibly classify one another.

It has the smallest common denominator. It makes no sense to judge people based on whether or not they have played tennis if you view sex as a physical activity performed with a partner. No pre-or post-tennis stigma exists. Why only sex, you ask? The fact that it doesn't occur anywhere else in nature makes it simple to demonstrate that it is a social fabrication.

The great apes, our closest relatives, including the chimpanzee, do not value virginity or abstinence. Nowhere else is a woman shunned or marginalized simply for having had sex. This barrier of chastity we've built for ourselves is uniquely human. Perhaps it stimulates the desire for monogamy biologically. But socially,

 

it's a very effective tool for men to induce sex with women. Indeed, it has been asserted that virginity is a social construct made by men who believe their penis could alter a woman's identity or at the very least her value.

My advice to anyone concerned about whether or not they are still virgins if they masturbate is to completely disabuse yourself of the notion that virginity has any kind of inherent value at all, as it does not. If you intend to have sex in the future, masturbation with or without a sex toy can actually help you get ready for it physically and psychologically. Give your partner your sex object and tell them to go eff themselves if they find out whether or not you're a virgin.
