What Is Sexting? Sending explicit messages, pictures, or videos over a cell phone, computer, or other digital device is known as sexting. Text messages, private messages, and emails that discuss or suggest sex acts are also examples of sexting. Sexting can also include images and videos that depict nudity or mock sex acts. Even when the addiction is destroying one's finances, self-esteem, career, and even family relationships, sexual addiction is associated with obsessive and compulsive thoughts and behaviors as well as an inability to control behavior.
