What Is Sexting? Sending explicit messages, pictures, or videos over a cell phone, computer, or other digital device is known as sexting. Text messages, private messages, and emails that discuss or suggest sex acts are also examples of sexting. Sexting can also include images and videos that depict nudity or mock sex acts.
